How has Wyndham described Uncle Axel so far? What can you infer from this? What would you do in the situation? Lots of questions, lots of things to think about, thank you for your thoughts. J
I believe that John Wyndham has described Uncle Axel as a loyal and helpful person because he has helped David to keep his secret. Uncle Axel has also told David what is beyond the Fringes because David wants to escape from Labrador. If I were in Uncle Axel’s shoes, I probably do the same as what he had done for David; I would be loyal.
